La carbilla rayada también conocido como verdillo o barred sand bass es un pescado de carne blanca, capturado de manera artesanal y sustentable por trampas por los pescadores de Punta Abreojos, parte de la reserva de la Biósfera El Vizcaíno en Baja California. Es desangrado al momento de su captura para obtener una mejor calidad de carne y sabor. Es de textura firme, sabor suave.
Excelente sustituto de la tilapia.
¿Cómo comer o cocinar el verdillo o cabrilla rayada?
Es un pescado super versátil, excelente sustituto de la tilapia. Tiene calidad sashimi y es ideal también para cocinarlo al horno o a las brasas.

Presentación: Individual 200g. Pescado fileteado por manos expertas, sin piel, ni espinas, empacado al vacío, congelación rápida para conservar su frescura y propiedades.

El término “sostenible” en el mar, significa que un pez ha sido capturado tomando en cuenta tanto el futuro a largo plazo de la especie como la salud de los océanos. Al ser sostenible, involucra también el aspecto social: Punta Abreojos es una cooperativa de pescadores en Baja California donde unen sus recursos para mejorar y expandir oportunidades al trabajar en una cooperativa.
